Revel in the cool shades of a tropical sea! Aquamarine is the gemstone of the sea. Sailors traveled with it to ensure a successful voyage and guarantee a safe return home, they slept with it under their pillows for sound sleep, and they believed the lower half of the sirens, or mermaids, were made from its crystals. In this striking hinge-bail enhancer, milky aquamarine is presented in a tribute to the magical life of the ocean, setting it on the backdrop of a trapezoidal piece of polished amazonite. Enhancer measures 2-1/8" L x 1-3/8" W and is framed in sterling silver detailed with sunray scrollwork. Proudly made in New Mexico, USA with fair labor.
